Contrast in Design

We enjoy playing [designing] with opposites.

It can be a contrast of textures- a velvet cushion contrasting against a wood seat.  The velvet becomes that much more soft + luxurious, and the detailing of the dark carved wood is amplified.

With our inspirational image of a baby’s breath+ disco balls overhead installation, delicate meets fun.

Baby's breath full of pale florettes in such a grande way alone would give off a pretty look.  Add a cluster of silver cut mirror disco balls, and the vibe shifts dramatically. Both elements take center stage- neither overshadows the other.

This setting for a wedding sets an unexpected tone we love.  It's a "romantic meets good times" vibe.  Your mother will appreciate it, as well as your party cousin dancing underneath it all night.  We see this as a win-win in the design department.

On that note, and with such profound inspiration, we think we may grow a large patch of baby's breath this upcoming year.
